It can be hard to know where to start when it comes to any journey, let alone a weight loss journey. Temptations, old habits and family routines can make it difficult to stick to a new program.
However never fear; we’ve worked to pull together our perfect routine, designed to help you stay on track, become focused and learn new healthy habits.
On our Rapid Plan we recommend substituting two meals a day for The Man Shake, as well as consuming two snacks a day which are high in protein, low in sugar (we recommend less than 5 grams of sugar) and approximately 150 calories, like The Man Bar. It’s also important to make sure you have a balanced, healthy meal – we typically suggest a time when you might be most social, such as dinnertime, to make sure that you’re not missing out on sharing a meal with loved ones.
We recommend consuming your shakes, meals, and snacks within a 10-hour window – this helps your body burn more fat, and regulate digestion and fast.
Water consumption is also super important, we suggest 2-3 litres a day! If you struggle to drink water, we recommend using a bottle with a straw, as this can be a fun motivator to drink water throughout the day. Adding Diet Rite to your water can add a sugar-free taste to your water.
A typical meal plan
- 8:00 AM: Your morning The Man Shake (The Man Shake GO! is perfect for your morning shake due to the added caffeine to start your day right)
- 10:30 AM: Your morning snack (we’ve got a bunch of snack suggestions, but we recommend something like rice crackers and tuna, or a Man Bar) - as a rule of thumb we suggest keeping under 5 grams of sugar, and 150 calories for this. Higher protein is the best to fuel your body!
- 1:00 PM: The Man Shake for your lunch
- 3:00 PM: An afternoon snack
- 6:00 PM: A balanced, nutritious dinner to end the day. We have lots of dinner ideas on our website, but a good mix of protein (eg. Chicken/small steak), and veggies/salad is the way to go!
It’s important to remember that you didn’t put all of your weight on in a day, and you can’t lose it in a day. Patience is a virtue, and over time you will get amazing results on The Man Shake.
