Hey, just because you’re trying to shed the belly doesn’t mean you have to give up the sweet stuff. At The Man Shake, we want you to enjoy your life to the fullest, which is why we’ve brought together a series of recipes that allow you to indulge your sweet tooth without adding extra length to your waistline. Let’s check out some of the best.
The Man Shake Protein Donut
If only Homer knew about this donut. Made using Vanilla and Chocolate Man Shake powder alongside some oat flower and unsweetened almond milk, this is one doughy morsel that won’t put your belt under any pressure. Top it off with some melted dark chocolate and chopped nuts for an extra treat.
The Man Shake Chocolate Lava Cake with Chocolate Super Greens
Sent in by Man Shake community member Michael, this indulgent (yet healthy) treat uses a combination of Chocolate Man Shake and our Chocolate Super Greens to make the perfect dessert for a chilly winter night. Just remember that the chocolate you use for the fondant centre needs to be at least 70% cocoa.
Strawberry Mancakes
A dessert you can also have for breakfast? Sounds good to us! These pancakes include oats, Vanilla Man Shake powder and strawberries in their batter to create a healthier dish than the hotcakes you’d get down at Maccas. They take about half an hour to prepare and are the perfect treat for some weekend indulgence.
The One-Minute Man Shake Mug Cake
Yes, you read that title correctly – this dessert only takes a minute to prepare, and at just 260 calories per serve, it’s the perfect sweet treat for a busy bloke trying to lose the love handles. Once again, the base of this of this dessert is a scoop of Vanilla Man Shake, mixed with a set of easily accessible ingredients. Once mixed, just pop it into the microwave for 60 seconds, making it great for an afternoon snack at the office.
Protein Cheesecake
Who says you can’t have your cake and eat it too? With a mixture of light cream cheese, Greek yoghurt, Vanilla Man Shake and gelatine, among other things, this snack contains 10g of protein and just 145 calories per serving, making it both healthy and delicious. Keep in mind though, that you’ll need to leave it in the fridge for five to six hours to set.
